A nice clear clean article about types of love and the process of love as we age in relationships. Where do you stand on this and what style of love do you think you fall into now? And, for those of us who have some miles on the odometer, do you think it might be different from when you were younger?

A Natural Addiction?

Ok so this one is a little science-y like the broccoli equivalent of romance theory but super interesting I swear. It's a psychology paper on how intense passionate romantic love can simulate substance abuse in the brain. I think they go a little over the edge when they talk about it being a potential substitute for those who are trying to ween from substance abuse but hey, they're talking about smokers in their trial so--you know it's not like they implied romance would be a great way to get over heroine addiction.




Do We Need It?

This is a great article that really gets to the meat of the questions I have and I'm asking here. What is passionate romantic love all about, do we need it to make relationships work, does it last and should it?
